We went to Cancun in 2008 and still remain unimpressed with the overly tourist town. What we did enjoy however, was a bus trip to see Chichen Itza, a UNESCO Word Heritage Site. So many of the ruins impressed us, but my favorite still remains El Caracol, the observatory in the Maya city.
